College Guidance

Life extends far beyond Lowcountry Prep. For our future-ready graduates, the college search process is as empowering as it is expansive.

For Upper School families, the college search process begins from the moment they join our community, which values educational excellence, meaningful connections, enriching experiences and a secure and supportive environment.  We prepare our Marlins for success in the college search, admission, and enrollment process, and for success in their chosen majors, leadership roles, and social experiences.

Each year, our College Counselor hosts colleges across South Carolina to speak to our students and hosts a SC Application Day where admissions counselors are available on-site to work with our seniors on applications and give access to waived application fees. We provide a virtual Financial Workshop to students and parents on the FAFSA and financial aid process. Each Fall, we administer ACT at a discounted student rate on campus to LPS students grades 10-12.
